Biddho Tour III rocked Oslo
Biddho tour III in Oslo, Norway – a successful concert with pleasant atmosphere, more than 300 energetic people, amazing music and great entertainment!!

The third Biddho tour concert in Oslo was held on Friday 4th of December 2009. It was an unforgettable party, with lovely atmosphere and a good mix of Eritrean music. The venue where the party was held is called Månefisken, which is the same venue where we had our first Biddho concert.

The concert was opened by Tedros Yared, the Vice Chair of YPFDJ Oslo. The evening started with a one minute silence in memory of our heroic martyrs, and was followed by our National anthem. YPFDJ Oslo’s Chairperson, Smret Kidane, highlighted the aim of the tour, and listed some of the challenges that face our generation today. Tekle Mengustu, Head of Public & Community Affairs in the Eritrean Embassy in Sweden, addressed the importance of the youth movement and the vital factor that youth play in our societies, both in Eritrea and the Diaspora. The announcer of the evening, comedian Yonas Tesfazghi kept us laughing and smiling in between great songs by Gujile Bahli Qeyih Meryet.

The artists were full of energy and kept the audience on the dance floor all night long. They gave us a nice mix of different music from different bahlitat. One of the artists Dawit Shilan, was unfortunately away due to illness. However, Wedi Shaws made sure that the audience did not miss Dawit Shilan too much. A surprise guest appearance by the famous Eritrean comedian Sandiago was like icing on the top.

YPFDJ Oslo which hosted the event was all dressed in black, with a white tie bearing the YPFDJ logo. We worked hard to make sure that we were visible all night and that all the guests enjoyed themselves. Accordingly, all feedback we have received is positive and inspirational.

Thank you all for this time – we can not wait for the next event!!!
